Every year my dad commissions me to illustrate a Christmas card, which we then get printed and send out to all our friends and family. They’re always based on poems that are in some way about winter but not normally too overtly Christmas-y.

I did these two cards here in 2023 and 2025 respectively. The 2023 one is based on Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening by Robert Frost.

The 2025 one is based on a traditional Irish poem by an unknown poet - we found it in a book about pigs! The first image is the front of the card, and then the poem itself is on the inside flap of the card when it was printed.
